Licensing

Awaire is currently issued under controlled validation. We onboard projects in small batches so setup, data handling, and workflow feedback are handled properly. Access is issued directly during validation — there is no self-serve purchase flow yet.

One licence, one workbench

Awaire is the product. A single Awaire licence includes the whole workbench:

  • Forge Engine — media-preparation capability. Prepares review media and proxies locally, with output folders, folder-structure preservation, and a local job record for every run. Recursive watch folders, broader transcodes/conversions, and Resolve-enabled RAW workflows (where DaVinci Resolve Studio is available) are in development.
  • Anvil Engine — rushes-intelligence capability, in controlled validation. Being built to read prepared media locally against the brief, requirements, storyboards, and references, group useful moments, and draft a reviewable first assembly suggestion with shot order and representative frames.

There is no separate Forge purchase, no separate Anvil purchase, and no per-module decision to make. You choose by access window, not by feature gate.

Controlled validation

During controlled validation, access is issued directly. To start the conversation, contact support@awaire.io or use the Support page. You'll receive a validation pack and we'll schedule a working session.

Licensing model

The licensing model below describes how Awaire is intended to be licensed. Specific terms are arranged with each project during controlled validation.

Trial — Free · 14 days

A 14-day trial for evaluating Awaire during validation. Covers the whole workbench, including both internal engines.

Project Pass — £69 · 30 days

A short-duration licence intended for one active production or evaluation window.

Annual — £349 / year

A 365-day licence intended for regular editors and small teams using Awaire across projects.

Studio & facilities — planned

Studio and facility plans (for teams, shared machines, deployment support, and multi-seat use) will be introduced later. They are not publicly available today; during controlled validation, studio and shared-machine access is handled directly with the team rather than sold as a public plan.

The current access windows (Trial, Project Pass, Annual) cover the same workbench direction and the same included engines; the difference is duration. Studio and facility plans are planned for later. Forge Engine is represented today by Awaire's current standalone local prep app/tool; unified Awaire workbench integration and the Forge-to-Anvil handoff are the product direction.

Activation

Each Awaire licence permits activation on two machines. Activation is performed in Preferences > Licence using the licence key issued by Awaire. If both slots are in use, an existing activation must be released before a third machine can be activated.

Offline usage

After successful activation, Awaire can operate offline for up to 30 days. Periodic online validation is required to maintain an active licence. If Awaire cannot validate within the allowed window, job creation is disabled until connectivity is restored.

Deactivation

To free an activation slot, open Awaire on the machine to release, go to Preferences > Licence, and choose Deactivate. The slot is freed immediately and the licence can be activated on a different machine.

Pricing

Indicative pricing is published on the Pricing page. Pricing terms apply once Awaire enters general distribution; during controlled validation, terms are arranged directly with onboarded projects.
