    Data Controller

    Awaire Ltd is registered in England and Wales. Awaire — including Forge Engine and Anvil Engine capabilities — is a product of Awaire Ltd. For privacy inquiries, contact: support@awaire.io

    Data We Collect

    • Email address (for licensing and support)
    • Licence ID
    • Machine identifier (hashed)
    • Activation timestamps
    • Validation heartbeat timestamps
    • IP address at activation
    • Basic support and licensing diagnostics during controlled validation

    Awaire does not collect media content, rushes, transcripts, or project data as part of licence validation. During controlled validation, any support diagnostics or configured-folder details are handled directly with the onboarded project. Awaire is designed to keep your media on your machine; rushes are not uploaded as part of the workflow.

  4. § 04

    Legal Basis

    Processing is necessary for contract performance and legitimate interest in preventing abuse of the licensing system.

  5. § 05

    Data Retention

    Licence records are retained for the duration of the licence and for a reasonable audit period thereafter.

  6. § 06

    Third Parties

    If paid licensing is offered, payments may be processed by Stripe. Awaire does not store full payment card details. During controlled validation, access terms are arranged directly with onboarded projects.

  1. § 01

    Grant of Licence

    Awaire is licensed, not sold. During controlled validation, access is issued directly to selected projects. A valid Awaire licence grants use of the software — including Forge Engine and Anvil Engine capabilities — for the agreed access window.

  2. § 02

    Activation

    • Each Awaire licence permits activation on two machines.
    • Activations are enforced via the Awaire Licence Authority.
    • Deactivation frees a slot immediately.
    • Offline validation tolerance: 30 days.
  3. § 03

    Duration

    Awaire access is duration-based. During controlled validation, access windows and terms are arranged directly. There are no feature tiers and no separate module purchases — Forge Engine and Anvil Engine are included capabilities in every Awaire licence.

  4. § 04

    RAW Workflows

    Resolve-enabled RAW workflows are in development and will require DaVinci Resolve Studio, sold separately, where used. Awaire does not include or replace Resolve Studio.

  5. § 05

    Restrictions

    • No redistribution
    • No reverse engineering
    • No licence sharing beyond permitted activations
    • No circumvention of activation systems
  6. § 06

    Termination

    Licences may be revoked in cases of abuse or refund.

  7. § 07

    Limitation of Liability

    Awaire is provided as-is. Awaire Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  8. § 08

    Updates

    Updates may be provided during the active licence period.
