What is Forge?

Forge is deterministic media rendering software for DaVinci Resolve. It automates complex workflows and eliminates render variance across systems through secure, reproducible execution.

Does Forge send data externally?

No. Media files and project data never leave your machine. Only licensing information is transmitted during activation. All processing is local.

How does licensing work?

Forge offers three license types: Trial (14 days, free), Project Pass (one-time fee, expires when used), and Annual (yearly subscription). Each license allows two machine activations.

What happens if I lose internet connection?

Forge includes a 30-day offline tolerance. After 30 days without re-validation, the license will be invalidated. This ensures licensing remains enforceable while supporting remote workflows.
